  • Luang Phor Ngern Buddhachote, one of the most famous monks in Thailand, was an abbot in Wat Bang Klan, Amphur Pho Tale, Pichit Province.
    He was born on September 16, 1810 in the rein of Rama II, Lung Phor Ngern was educated in Wat Chanasongkram at the age of three and was ordained as a novice monk at 12 prior to his full ordination.
  • "Buddachote" was given as his Pali Monastic name and Luang Phor Ngern became a dedicated student of Somdej Phra Buddhachan (Toh) Promrangsi of Wat Rakhang Khositaram and thoroughly studied Buddha´s Dhamma as well as sacred sciences, vipassana dhura for Metta Maha Niyom (an effect of loving kindness enchantment) and invulnerability. His continuous meditation practices contributed to the solidity of his telepathy power and he became wellknown for his sacred power, rigid Dhamma discipline and preference for solitude and peace
