  • The Malay Eagle Owl - Bubo sumatranus reaches a height between 40 and 46 centimeters. The body top is reddish - brown with fine dark horizontal stripes. The body underside is whitish and brown striped . The breast is always slightly darker than the belly . The legs are feathered . The eyes are dark brown.
  • The Indian Barn Owl ( T. a most least ) is found in the Indian subcontinent , Sri Lanka, Assam and northern Myanmar. The top is pale gray and brown colored yellow with fine black and white dots , the underside is white to slightly brownish- yellow with many small dots .
