- SUPHALAK CAT: The Suphalak is a rare cat variety originating in Thailand and described in a class of historical Thai manuscripts known as the Tamra Maew, or "Treatise on Cats." It is often considered an ancestor of the modern Burmese breed, while some view it as a color variety of the native Thai Maew Boran cat breed. According to the International Maew Boran Association (TIMBA) in Thailand, the Suphalak is a natural breed and should not be confused with the sable-colored Burmese cat.
- KORAT CAT: The Korat cat, also known as the blue-gray cat or gray cat, is a medium-sized, short-haired cat. It is also called Si-Sawat, a name derived from the Thai words si (color) and sawat (blue-gray). Another name in Thailand is Maeo Dok-Lao, which roughly translates to "cat the color of clouds before a rain shower." The Korat is an extremely affectionate and sociable cat, making it virtually impossible to keep alone. It seeks contact with both other cats and people. Its patient nature, playfulness, and curiosity make it an ideal cat for children, although this doesn't mean the Korat won't defend itself if it finds itself in a dangerous situation.
- WIECHIEN MAAR CAT: The Thai or Wichien Maat cat, wichianmat, meaning "diamond gold," is a domestic cat breed that was revived in the 1980s after its separation from the Western, modern Siamese cat. This natural breed originates from the cats of Thailand and has been known by various breeders at different times and in different places as the Old Style Siamese, Traditional Siamese, Classic Siamese, Wichien Maat (an anglicized form of the Thai name), and Applehead, a nickname that arose in the 1950s, originally used pejoratively by breeders of the modern, more showy Siamese. According to the International Cat Association: "The Thai cat is a breed dedicated to preserving the native pointed cat of Thailand in its original form."
- KHAO MANEE CAT: Khao Manee refers to a breed of domestic cat. "Khao Mani" means "White Jewel." Another common name is "Khao Plort," meaning "all white." The Khao Manee has a white, short, very dense coat that lies close to the body. She has blue eyes, or one blue and one amber to gold eye, or one blue and one green eye, which contrast sharply with her body color and appear brilliant or luminous because the tissue of her upper and lower eyelids is very light. This is an almost exclusive characteristic of this breed. Her body is medium-sized, medium-weight, elegant, and muscular. The head is well-defined and neither too long nor too short. This cat appears perfectly balanced in every aspect.
