Issue Notice:
- Khmer New Year (Choul Chnam Thmey) is celebrated as a three-day main festival.
- It is the most important cultural event of the year, during which families gather, visit temples, and practice traditional customs, dances, and water fights to purify and celebrate the new astrological cycle.
- Moha Sangkran (Day 1): The first day marks the end of the old year and the beginning of the new.
- Wanabot/Vana Bat (Day 2): The second day is dedicated to exchanging gifts and showing respect to parents and elders.
- Loeung Sack/Tngai Laeung Saka (Day 3): The third day includes the cleansing of Buddha statues and joyful water games.
